On the 19th of October, the PFM Reform Program Unit hosted a meeting held between the Accountant General’s Office and PwC to assess progress on the Financial Management & Reporting Pillar of the PFM Reform Program.
Technical staff from PwC and Accountant General’s Office attended the meeting to discuss ongoing work in Pillar 3 of the PFM Reform Program.
The main points of discussion were: –
- The progress of PwC’s work – PwC presented an overview of their on-going work with a description of the key deliverables and challenges
- Collaboration – The Accountant General’s Office and PwC discussed how they could better work together to ensure the greater efficiency and accountability of public expenditures in Somaliland
It was agreed that:
- PwC would produce all deliverable’s on time after consultation with the relevant GoSL staff
- Counterparts would work closely with PwC to ensure that reforms are successful and sustainable
Both sets of participants look forward to continuing their productive working relationship into the future.
